After living in Syracuse, New York for 23 years I can truly say that this is an area surprisingly rich in culture and musical experiences. From the traditional recitals of the University faculty and students to the Avante Garde happenings of the Society for New Music, from the private home soirées to the grand performances at the Crouse Hinds Concert Theater, Central New York is abounding with diversity in classical music. We have plenty to enjoy here. More than many of us realize, and of excellence and incomparable beauty.
It is with great appreciation that I founded Renegade Classics and this website to honor the Artists who have devoted their lives to enriching ours – the audiences of classical music. We are fortunate to live in an age where we can capture their performances and be able to present them in the tangible form of a CD without having to be at the mercy of the “big labels”. Enjoy the gift of music that is so rich in Central New York. And to the Artists: Bravissimo! Thank You for making our experience in Central New York one to treasure.
