Our Swan Song

We would like to thank all of those who supported this venture through the years but it is now time to close the website.

We hope you have enjoyed and still enjoy the arts that are available in Central New York and truly appreciate the talents of the many artists who live here.

Unfortunately digital downloads has replaced the venue of the hard CD and we cannot offer that option.  It no longer makes sense to keep the site open.

Those who are looking for CDs from Society for New Music or Schola Cantorum please visit their websites available through the Music Links above.

Thank you again to all those who participated through the past ten years.

I leave you with one last song:

Domenico Scarlatti:  Sonata in G, K. 427 (Presto quanto sia possibile)

Thanks, Steve Rosenfeld for this recording!

Our Mission

Renegade Classics was made possible through the efforts and talents of the many musicians of Central New York.  It is our hope that the Classical Arts will continue to flourish and that more people will become aware of the opportunities available in our community to hear and appreciate the diversity that is available in classical music.  We are grateful for the opportunity to have promoted these quality performances on CD so that all listeners may continue to enjoy them at home for years to come.

We are very grateful to our recording engineers, Paul Bertalan of dG Studios, Syracuse, NY and Donald Weihrich, of DoWAP Studios for devoting time and energy to capturing many of these fine recitals and also to Senior Recording Engineer James S. Abbott from Syracuse University for his many contributions to our local recordings.
